Vertical Shaft Impactors are tertiary crushers for the production of high-grade chippings or crushed sand from hard rock such as basalt, granite, diorite, andesite and gravel. The vertical arrangement of the rotor makes for a compact, low-weight unit that is ideal for mobile operations. 3 port, 4 port and 5 port rotor design for 100 to 300 TPH plants respectively induces higher volume of material flow through the rotor to achieve higher throughputs. High resistance carbide pins inducing longer wear life and lower production costs compared to carbide tips for equivalent design of competitors.
