Engineer / Executive / Manager - Structural Engineering

Job Description

• Preparation of the appropriate STAAD model and Analysis based on Equipment load data and Mechanical GA Drawings, and economical Design of Steel Structures.
• Review of design calculations and drawings submitted by other outside consultants/vendors.
• Complete quantity estimation work for Tender purposes etc.

Desired Profile

About 3 to 15 years of experience in :

• Economical design of Transfer Towers, Conveyor Galleries including supporting Trestles, VGT structures etc. for Material Handling Projects, and also Boiler supporting Structures for Power Plants.
• Should have thorough knowledge of Structural Steel Design both as per WSM and LSM. Should be able to efficiently model and analyze Structural Steel Frames/Towers independently with due consideration of DL, LL, WL and Seismic stipulations as per Indian/International Codes.
• Estimation of structural steel and other relevant items for different CHP and other Bulk Material Handling Projects for Tendering purpose.
• Thorough knowledge of detailing of Steel Structures and aptitude for checking of detailed fabrication drawings.
